The Haematology department provides a full range of services for the diagnosis and management  patients with all types of blood disorders, including cancers of the blood.

The department, which has close links to is the University of Cambridge department of haematology internationally renowned for it clinical expertise, laboratory diagnostic work and scientific  research into the understanding and treatment of blood disorders. We are extensively involved in undergraduate and postgraduate  training

The Centre includes the East Anglia Blood and Marrow Transplant Unit which provides a comprehensive service for the treatment of cancer. We offer high-dose therapy with bone marrow and peripheral blood stem-cell support, plus a dedicated outpatient department with day-case facilities for the treatment of patients undergoing transfusion, chemotherapy and apheresis.
