We have facilities for cardiology tests (including invasive monitoring), and can provide temporary cardiac pacemakers.
Our treatment pathways aim to meet all national service framework targets, and we have strong links with Papworth Hospital, which provides our interventional facilities.
In addition, we run day-surgery cardioversion lists and heart-failure clinics and hold sessions for Heartbeat and Heartstart in Cambridge, which are national British Heart Foundation (BHF) groups.
The Centre has become a nursing development unit, and we invest highly in staff development and meet clinical governance needs by providing evidence-based care.
