Harry Richardson
Patient Governor

Harry was elected as a patient governor from July 2016.

Currently Harry works as a healthcare assistant at St Nicholas Hospice in Bury St Edmunds where he has gained experience in the healthcare sector. As a Trustee of Suffolk Accident Rescue Service, Harry regularly works alongside Addenbrooke’s Hospital as a major trauma centre.

Harry decided to stand as a governor after an outstanding level of care given to him by Addenbrooke’s following a road traffic accident. As a governor he hopes to provide a holistic approach towards hospital care and would like to explore ways of integrating the work of Addenbrooke’s with other care providers.
