Change or cancel an appointment

If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact the clinic listed on your appointment letter as soon as possible.

Letting us know early means we may be able to offer the appointment to another patient.

Change or cancel your appointment

Contact the clinic using the details on your appointment letter or appointment card.

If you have misplaced your appointment letter or card, you can find contact details for your clinic in our Clinic A-Z.

Reply to a text message reminder

If you have received a text message reminder about your appointment, you may be able to tell us that you cannot attend by replying directly to the message.

Follow the instructions included in the text message.

Text message reminders from Cambridge University Hospitals are sent from 60315.

If you miss your appointment

If you miss your appointment, or repeatedly cancel or decline appointments, you may be discharged back to the care of your GP.

This will only happen following clinical review and approval.
