My current role

I am a medical secretary and also clinic coordinator for the memory clinic team within neurology (R3 Neurosciences).

I provide a secretarial support service to my clinicians, and book appointments for the EDC and DMC clinics.

I type the clinic correspondence and file patient notes.

I handle telephone queries from patients and allied health professionals.

Previous history

Before joining the memory clinic / neurology in April 2023, I was medical secretary and clinic coordinator within clinical genetics at CUH.

Prior to that I worked as a secretary / receptionist and was also patient administrator at a local GP practice.

Personal interests

I enjoy writing creatively and have had my first book published for children, Fairies at Number 55 (opens in a new tab).

I also enjoy reading, walking my two dogs, visiting the cinema and attending music concerts.
