The NIHR / Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility is a joint venture between the Wellcome Trust, Cambridge University Hospitals and the University of Cambridge.

It is one of two wards of the Addenbrooke's Clinical Research Centre (ACRC), which is housed in the Addenbrooke's Centre for Clinical Investigation (ACCI) building.

The ACRC offers two purpose-built research facilities to members of the local research community for patient-centred clinical research projects. Both areas are staffed by experienced, well-qualified NHS staff who have a range of acute, critical care and research skills.

The CRF currently operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
