Taking action for a sustainable future

Here at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) we've made great strides in thinking differently and taking action for a sustainable future. We recycle around half our waste and use some to generate energy; we upgrade our buildings to use heat and electricity efficiently and use technologies to cut resource use and pollution.

There is, however, still much more to do in expanding this activity so, in order to progress, we've developed and adopted a new Sustainable Development Management Plan (SDMP) which sets out our objectives in relation to sustainable development for the period 2013 to 2020.
