Dr Will Ince

Consultant oncologist

I look after patients with urological (kidney, prostate and bladder) and head and neck cancers using the full breadth of non-surgical oncology treatments, with particular interests in clinical trials and immunotherapy.

My current role

I have a wide research portfolio and am principal investigator for national and international clinical trials. I am the regional (East of England) research network lead for kidney and bladder cancer.

I am a member of a National Cancer Research Institute (head and neck) working group defining strategic priorities for research and have co-authored national guidance in urological malignancies.

I work closely with charities and patient advocacy groups and have co-authored leaflets for Prostate Cancer UK and Kidney Cancer UK.

Previous history

I qualified at St Bartholomew's hospital and trained in oncology in London, Cambridge and Norwich. Prior to training as an oncologist, I was a GP for five years where I held managerial and educational responsibilities.
