Dr Lucy Raymond is a Reader in Neurogenetics and has been a consultant for over 10 years and provides both specialist and general clinic care.

Special Interests

Dr Raymond has a special interest in identifying the genetic causes of intellectual disability. 

General clinics

Dr Raymond runs a monthly clinic at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kings Lynn where she sees referrals from GPs within the King Lynn area and hospital referrals from General Medicine, Paediatrics, and general Surgery and Oncology. Her team consisting of herself and a genetic counsellor are happy to see referrals from all disciplines where there are genetic issues to be addressed.

Specialist clinics

NF2 clinic

This is one of 4 multidisciplinary clinic funded nationally to provide care for those with NF2 held at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. It is staffed by ENT, Skull based and spinal neurosurgery, audiology, genetics, neurology, paediatrics and runs monthly to manage and assess families and individuals with NF2.

Tuberous Sclerosis (TS) clinic

Run 3 monthly to see and assess children and adults with TS. Again multidisciplinary with Paediatric Neurology and Psychology.
