Addenbrooke’s Cancer Patient Partnership Group

The Addenbrooke's Cancer Patient Partnership Group (CPPG) is a group of patients and carers who work with hospital staff to improve cancer services.

The group meets quarterly at Addenbrooke's Hospital.  Their activities include:

  • Consultation with people affected by cancer
  • Ensuring that the patient's voice is heard
  • Keeping up to date with cancer care developments
  • Attending meetings as patient representatives

A few of the CPPG’s recent / current projects include:

  • Gathering patient views on the Ward D9 Day Room refurbishment
  • Developing a new leaflet and written information for patients with an urgent referral
  • Working with staff on the Oncology Outpatients refurbishment
  • Feeding back on MyChart (patient portal which gives patients secure access to parts of their medical record)
  • Participating in the Trust Reader Panel to improve patient information leaflets

The CPPG produces a bulletin 2-3 times per year. Click here for the latest copy.

A copy of their annual report for 2018/19 can be found here.

The CPPG is always looking for new members to help improve cancer services.  Members can be involved at a level of activity that suits them and can give their input via email, telephone or in person at meetings and workshops.  For more information please contact:
