The palliative care team

Palliative care is the active total care of patients with a life threatening disease.

The team is multi-disciplinary and consists of  doctors, nurses, psychologist, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

We help cancer patients with:

  • Symptom control
  • Psychological support
  • Advance care planning
  • Coordination of care
  • Coping strategies – for families, as well as patients themselves

We work  closely with community palliative care colleagues throughout East Anglia, referring patients on to community services as needed on discharge from hospital.
