I am a consultant specialising in the treatment of disorders of hearing and balance, including hearing implants for adults and children.

My current role

My clinical work is based around neuro-otology and hearing implants. I have otology and vestibular clinics and I am part of the Cambridge hearing implant multidisciplinary team in the Emmeline Centre.

I have a specialist interest in Eustachian tube dysfunction, for which I run a research clinic.

I am a clinician-scientist and senior research associate at the University of Cambridge. I conduct mostly clinical research and trials, and have an interest in medical device development.

Previous history

I originally qualified in Cambridge, with my specialist surgical training also in the East of England. I followed this with sub-specialist training in advanced otology, hearing implants and skull base surgery in Manchester.

Membership and accreditations

I sit on the council for the British Society of Otology.

I am a member of the following organisations:
