My current role
In my current role, I provide strategic leadership for NMAHP education, ensuring our programmes are high‑quality, data‑informed, and aligned with CUH’s organisational priorities. I lead governance development, workforce planning, and the integration of project analytics to strengthen decision‑making and improve educational outcomes.
Previous history
I began my career as a Registered Nurse in acute surgery and critical care, working across both junior and senior roles that strengthened my clinical expertise and shaped my interest in developing others. During this time, I supported clinical education within the surgical and critical care environment, delivering training, supporting learners, and contributing to improvements in clinical practice and patient safety.
Alongside my clinical work, I held an Associate Lecturer position at Anglia Ruskin University, where I taught clinical skills and led sessions on recognising and managing the deteriorating patient. This academic experience broadened my perspective on education delivery, assessment, and curriculum design, and deepened my commitment to building high‑quality learning experiences for the NMAHP workforce.
These combined clinical, educational, and academic roles laid the foundation for my transition into senior education leadership and continue to inform my approach to workforce development at CUH.
