Laura is Chief Delivery Officer at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH). Laura provides extensive board-level experience in operational and strategic leadership.
Previous history
Prior to joining CUH, she served as Site Chief Executive at University Hospitals of Northamptonshire (UHN), leading both Northampton General Hospital and Kettering General Hospital as part of a wider group.
Before joining UHN, Laura spent 23 years at University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) in a variety of operational and strategic roles, latterly as Director of Strategy, where she led the commissioning and construction of two major new hospitals.
Throughout her career, Laura has led strategic change, operational improvement and service transformation. She has a strong track record of building high-performing cultures and working collaboratively with clinicians, front-line teams, academic partners and colleagues across the wider health and care system to improve services and outcomes for patients.
The Chief Delivery Officer plays a vital role within our executive team, overseeing both the strategic direction and day-to-day operational management of services, as well as the delivery of high-quality care for patients.
