My current role
I am a surgical trainer for eye doctors in the East of England region. I perform complex cataract surgery as well as corneal graft surgery.
Previous history
I received fellowship training in corneal surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, as well as King's College Hospital, London and Leicester Royal Infirmary. I spent time at the top-ranked corneal centre in India, the LV Prasad Eye Institute in Hyderabad. I learnt additional techniques for complex cataract surgery as well as about how to manage severe corneal infections. I completed ophthalmology training in Nottingham, and prior to that was a doctor in Oxford after graduation from there. I received my undergraduate degree from Cambridge.

- Member of the European Society Of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons.
Personal interests
I enjoy thinking about the science behind my work as well as teaching junior doctors. Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, woodworking, and computer programming.
