My current role
I am a consultant Microbiologist within CUH - my role involves providing advice regarding the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of infection.
Previous history
Before joining CUH I undertook my undergraduate training and Foundation Training in the North East. I then moved to Merseyside to train as a Microbiologist. After completing my training I worked as a consultant in Liverpool for 8 years prior to moving to the East of England.
Membership/accreditations
I am a member of the Royal College of Pathologists.
Personal interests
When I am not at work I enjoy playing the piano (and occasionally church organ...badly!), reading, walking and birdwatching.
