My current role

I offer systemic treatment (chemotherapy/targeted therapy) to patients with bone/soft-tissue sarcoma and testicular germ cell cancer at CUH.

I have a strong research interest and I am the Clinical Research Network Eastern Sarcoma Subspecialty Lead, Clinical Member of the National Cancer Research Institute Sarcoma Group, and Principal Investigator of sarcoma clinical trials in Cambridge.

Previous history

I graduated with Distinction from the University of Sheffield and did my early medical training in Sheffield and at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

Following my postgraduate examination I was awarded the Medical Research Council Clinical Research Training Fellowship to undertake a PhD research project in oncolytic viral therapy at the Barts Cancer Institute, Queen Mary University of London.

I was a finalist of the Fairbairn Award at the British Society for Gene Therapy Conference in 2009 for my work.

I completed my specialist training in Medical Oncology in Cambridge and had also spent a year working at the Cancer Research UK Centre for Drug Development in London on experimental therapeutics and early phase clinical trials.
