I am a consultant obstetrician, specialising in complex maternal and fetal conditions.

My current role

I work with the Obstetrics department, specialising in the care of medically complex pregnancies. I also manage labour and deliveries.

I am an active clinician scientist at the University of Cambridge, and lead a research group that focuses on understanding the long-term outcomes of complex pregnancies. I have published >50 peer-reviewed papers and am the Chief Investigator of several studies.

I am the Associate Training Programme director for academic trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in the East of England. I am a Fellow and Director of Studies for clinical medical students at Trinity College, Cambridge.

Previous history

I trained at Cambridge University, where I completed undergraduate medical studies, clinical studies, and my PhD. I then undertook post-doctoral and clinical training via an Academic Clinical Lecturer post.

I completed my sub-specialty training in Maternal and Fetal Medicine at CUH, prior to being appointed as a consultant.
