We are deeply saddened to hear of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
On behalf of colleagues across CUH, we would like to send our heartfelt condolences to the The Royal Family at this difficult time.
We had the pleasure of welcoming The Queen to our hospitals on a number of occasions and she was with us to celebrate some of the most important moments in our history.
She opened Addenbrooke’s Hospital in 1962 and returned to the Cambridge Biomedical Campus in 2013 to open the new Rosie Hospital.
We will remember with great fondness her long-lasting contributions to this country.
