Gaenor Bagley has been appointed as a Non-Executive Director of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CUH) and Chair of the Audit Committee
Gaenor Bagley is an experienced Chair, Non-Executive Director and former executive board member, with more than 30 years’ leadership experience across complex organisations in the public and private sectors.
She is a chartered accountant and has held senior roles at PwC, including Executive Board Member responsible for people and Head of Corporate Purpose.
Gaenor’s current non-executive roles include Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at the National Audit Office, Chair of the Audit Committee at Zopa Bank and External Member of the University of Cambridge Council.
Gaenor was previously a Non-Executive Director and Senior Independent Director at Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust, where she chaired the Audit Committee and Digital Committee.
Gaenor brings extensive experience of audit, risk and governance, financial oversight, digital transformation, people and culture, and leadership of large and complex organisations.
She has a strong connection with Cambridge and a particular interest in the opportunities for research and innovation across the region.
With this extensive experience, Gaenor has been appointed as the Chair of the Audit Committee.
