What should I do if my health is deteriorating?

If you notice deterioration in your symptoms or condition, please follow the advice below:

  • If non-urgent and waiting for your first appointment, please contact your GP.
  • If you are awaiting a follow up appointment or treatment, please contact your specialist clinical team at the hospital using the contact details below.
  • In the event of an emergency please attend your local Emergency Department or dial 999.

Symptoms of concern would be:

  • difficulty breathing
  • change in voice
  • difficulty swallowing
  • increase in neck swelling
