Alison Trehearn - trainer and facilitator, learning and development

This year Alison is celebrating 20 years at CUH.

I’m proud to be part of CUH because if you want to progress there are lots of opportunities here. I am also proud to say I work at CUH particularly in the past year, I think everyone has been truly marvellous.

Alison Trehearn

Hello, my name is Ali and I’m a trainer and facilitator in learning and development. I feel very lucky working here because I’m part of a very supportive ‘can do’ team and we have lots of opportunity to get involved in all sorts of projects.

I’ve been involved in many projects over the years; organising our very first apprentices, patient information screens and e-learning development are just a few. My job is always varied and interesting.

I’ve seen many changes since I started; the hospital environment is constantly growing and changing. Our training centre was called The Shed and used to be in the middle of a car park where the Deakin Centre now stands. And I remember when we only had 5,000 staff in total!

I’m proud to be part of CUH because if you want to progress there are lots of opportunities here. I am also proud to say I work at CUH particularly in the past year, I think everyone has been truly marvellous.

Say thank you
