Clinical Engineering

Clinical Engineering is responsible for the management of all medical devices used within CUH and is comprised of several teams.

The main work of Clinical Engineering involves managing the lifecycle of devices, from procurement, evaluation, technical support right through to decommissioning. All of which adds value to a cost effective solution that ensures appropriate medical devices are available to meet clinical need.

Clinical Engineering also offers support for the governance, risk management, evaluation, design and manufacture of all kinds of medical technologies.
