How to use an 'Aerochamber plus' in one breath

Patient information A-Z

  1. Remove the cap from the inhaler.
  2. Remove the cap from the Aerochamber.
  3. Shake the inhaler and insert in Aerochamber.
  4. Place the mouthpiece in the mouth and ensure lips are sealed around the mouthpiece.
  5. Press the inhaler once.
  6. Take a deep, slow breath in (if a whistling noise is heard you are breathing in too hard or fast) until your lungs are full up.
  7. Hold your breath for up to ten seconds.
  8. Remove mouthpiece from the mouth.
  9. Breathe normally.

For further doses repeat steps three to seven after shaking the inhaler.
