The Rosie is a tertiary centre, providing specialist care for babies with the highest needs.
We work closely with hospitals across the East of England Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (opens in a new tab) to ensure every baby receives the right level of care.
Once your baby no longer requires specialist care, they will be transferred to another hospital within the region, usually based on your home postcode. This ensures they continue to receive appropriate care while staying as close to home as possible.
This transfer allows your local team to build a relationship with you and your baby, ensuring continuity of care as they will provide ongoing support and follow-ups once your baby is discharged. The Paediatric & Neonatal Decision Support & Retrieval Service (PaNDR) (opens in a new tab) will oversee the transfer when your baby is ready.
