Inclusion Criteria
- Families with two or more cases of gastric cancer at any age, one confirmed DGC.
- Individuals with DGC before the age of 40.
- Individuals with a family history of DGC and Lobular breast cancer (LBC), one diagnosed before the age of 50.
- Individuals from families who have a strong family history of gastric or breast cancer in whom we have been unable to confirm pathology, at the discretion of the study CI or PI.
Please note: The criteria for the study are very specific. If you have a family history of gastric cancer it does not necessarily mean that you have a ‘faulty gene’. Please contact your GP in the first instance and he may refer you to your local genetic centre.
