Amy Taylor
Principal Genetic Counsellor

Amy carried out her doctoral research into the genetics of deafness at the Institute of Hearing Research in Nottingham and at the Wellcome Trust Sanger Institute in Cambridge. She graduated from the MSc in Genetic Counselling at Cardiff University in 2008, and completed Registration in 2011. As well as deafness, her specialist interests include cancer genetics, cardiac genetics and neurofibromatosis type 2. She also holds a monthly clinic at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. As a Principal Genetic Counsellor, Amy’s role is as the Lead for Education and Training.
