This page provides an overview of the outdoor spaces across our hospitals, including gardens and courtyards. These areas are designed to support recovery, well-being, and our patients, staff and visitors’ comfort.

Bridgerton Garden
The Bridgerton Garden was originally created for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2024 and is now permanently installed within the Rosie Hospital. There is a refined plant selection, ornamental grass, a tranquil period water fountain, an iconic moongate and seating.

NHS 70 Garden
This thoughtfully designed garden offers a calm and soothing space for staff, patients and visitors. Shaded by trees and surrounded by greenery, it provides the ideal setting to step away and enjoy a moment away from our hospitals.

Japanese garden
Tucked away in a quiet corner in the Rosie Hospital, the Japanese garden offers a peaceful rest outdoors. At its heart, a small water fountain gently bubbles away, while the tall trees provide shade across stone paths, colourful flowers and wooden benches.

Diamond Jubilee Garden
This quiet space within a courtyard offers a relaxing place to rest on the benches amongst beautiful wildflowers, trees and lavender.
