My name is Max Burroughs and I am a senior therapy radiographer within the radiotherapy department.

I have been at CUH for 6 years - 3 years qualified and 3 years as a student.
What part of your work are you particularly proud of or find rewarding?
I'm proud that what I'm doing is helping to treat people's cancer and prolonging people's lives.
How does your team make a difference for patients or families?
Our team makes a difference for patients by saving people's lives and giving patients the care and attention they need throughout their radiotherapy treatment.
What is something you’d like people to understand about your role?
I would like people to understand that patients are at the centre of our care, but we are also technically skilled to be able to set up patients and deliver their treatment.
What’s one thing you enjoy outside of work?
Outside of work I like to relax and catch up with mates.
