How long have you worked at CUH?
I have been working at CUH for the past three years and enjoy every moment of it.
What part of your work are you particularly proud of or find rewarding?
The most rewarding part of my job is making a positive impact in the lives of those I encounter. I enjoy building rapport with my patients as it aids in alleviating their fears and concerns.
How does your team make a difference for patients or families?
My team makes a difference for patients and their families by adopting a collaborative approach in the delivery of compassionate, individualized healthcare.
What is something you’d like people to understand about your role?
There are many preconceived notions surrounding nurses. Our role is not only limited to bedside care. We provide holistic care that not only focuses on the patient's illness but also considers their emotional, social and mental needs to achieve optimum health.
What’s one thing you enjoy outside of work?
As a nurse, I thrive for a healthy work-life balance. One thing I enjoy outside of work is travel. I believe visiting new places not only helps in ensuring mental and physical health, but it also creates new experiences and opportunities for cultural exchange.
