Role
I began my nursing career working in Respiratory and Elderly General Medicine for two years before moving to the Intensive Care Unit at the James Paget Hospital. I then joined Addenbrooke’s Hospital, where I worked in Day Surgery for three years. In 2020, I joined the Vasculitis and Lupus Department and have since been involved in a range of clinical research trials, including studies on COVID-19, EGPA, non-ANCA vasculitis, rapidly progressive glomerulonephritis, and more recently Lupus and CAR-T cell therapy.
I was awarded a “You made a difference Award” in February 2025 by the Trust for being approachable, supportive, and an invaluable source of reassurance during what can be a daunting journey.
I have a strong interest in education and professional development, and I have been actively involved in developing and facilitating the Cambridge Vasculitis and Research Nurse Training Course, which supports nurses across the UK in advancing their roles in vasculitis care and research.
