Chaplain

I am a dedicated (Muslim) Chaplain with a profound commitment to providing spiritual and emotional support to individuals in need.
Vahab Bhikhi

With a strong educational background, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Islam and a Master's degree in Pastoral Care, equipping me with the knowledge and skills necessary to address the diverse needs of the diverse communities I serve.

With over a decade of experience serving my local community in London, I have worked closely with individuals and families facing grief, asylum seekers, refugees, and those struggling with mental health challenges. My passion for helping others navigate difficult life experiences has driven me to collaborate with individuals from various cultural and religious backgrounds, fostering an inclusive and supportive environment for all.

In my role at Cambridge University Hospital, I am dedicated to providing compassionate care and guidance to patients, families, and staff members alike. I am committed to promoting healing, resilience, and spiritual well-being within the healthcare setting, recognising the importance of addressing the holistic needs of individuals during times of vulnerability.

Through my work, I aim to uphold the values of empathy, respect, and understanding, creating a safe space for individuals to explore their spirituality, find comfort in times of distress, and foster a sense of community and belonging. I am deeply honoured to serve as a Chaplain, supporting individuals on their spiritual journey and promoting holistic well-being within the healthcare setting.
