My current role
My current role undertakes research in risk adapted stratified breast screening using Abbreviated MRI, Tomosynthesis, Whole Breast Ultrasound and Contrast Enhanced Mammography. I maintain a strong interest in musculo-skeletal imaging. I am interested in multimodal functional imaging with MRI and PET of the tumour environment using breast cancer as a model and correlating this with the tumour genetic profile. I evaluate new imaging technology and am currently working on Artificial Intelligence in Imaging.
Since 2012, I have been awarded fifteen competitive grants worth over £20M. I was a member of the NIHR HTA Board and then the EME Board and am on a number of advisory panels.
