Dr Pooja Harijan

My current role

I am a paediatric neurologist with interests in general neurology, epilepsy, neonatal neurology, headache, idiopathic intracranial hypertension, and acquired brain injury.

I am currently departmental academic lead, as well as the lead for the vagal nerve stimulation service, chair of the Eastern Paediatric Epilepsy Network, and course lead for the university’s preparing for patients course.

I am a member of the faculty of the BPNA courses for epilepsy, headache, and neonatal neurology.

Previous history

I trained in paediatric neurology in Leicester and Nottingham.
