My current role
I work to talk to children and their parents, as hospital can be a lonely place. I also get the privilege of talking to new parents after the birth of their baby.
I have found my years as a systemic practitioner invaluable when counselling families.
Previous history
Prior to working in Addenbrooke's, I was a counsellor in schools. I have worked in a pupil referral unit and as a systemic practitioner within IAPT.
Membership and accreditations
I am an accredited member of the BACP, and I am a systemic practitioner.
Personal interests
When not at work I read, visit friends, cook, garden and look after my family (not all at the same time!)
We also share our house with three crazy cats; Luke, Leia and Glen.
