In my current role, I am a consultant in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and also with the East of England Paediatric Intensive Care retrieval service, PaNDR (Paediatric and Neonatal Decision support and Retrieval service).
Before joining the team at Addenbrooke's, I was a consultant in paediatric intensive care at St Mary's Hospital in London and an honorary senior lecturer in paediatrics at Imperial College London for 15 years.
I qualified from Cambridge University and trained in adult and paediatric medicine before completing my clinical training at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. During this time I also completed my PhD at the Institute of Child Health.
