My current role
I work as a Consultant in the emergency department. I also work for the NIHR CRN as the regional specialty lead for Trauma and Emergencies to help patients take part in clinical research trials. I am also Vice President of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.
Previous history
Before I became a Consultant I was employed as a health services research fellow. I completed my training in emergency medicine in the eastern region.
Membership/accreditations
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine and a member of the Q community.
Personal interests
I'm a keen oarsman, but age and time are limiting my ambitions.
