My current role

I provide psychological input with families, children and young people under the care of the paediatric cystic fibrosis service, paediatric respiratory medicine and paediatric gastroenterology.

Previous history

Before joining the paediatric psychological medicine team at Addenbrooke’s, I worked as a clinical psychologist in a local Neurodevelopmental Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service. I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at the University of East Anglia.

Prior to this, I gained valuable experience through assistant psychologist roles in neurorehabilitation services and working with older adults, as well as a research assistant position at the University of Oxford.

I hold an undergraduate degree in psychology from the University of Groningen (The Netherlands) and a master’s degree in clinical psychology from Swansea University.

Memberships and accreditations

I am registered with the Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC).

Personal interests

Outside of work I like to stay active, going on walks, doing Pilates and playing volleyball. I also enjoy creative activities, particularly sewing, and spending time with my cats.
