My current role
I was appointed in Cambridge as a consultant in 2025. I have a broad range of interests in general urology, endourology and uro-oncology - particularly stone disease, BPH, kidney and prostate cancer.
My research background is in trials, statistical modelling, prognostication and decision-making. I have written and contributed to multiple urological textbooks and have a strong interest in medical education.
Previous history
Before joining CUH I completed a urology fellowship at North Shore Hospital, Auckland, New Zealand. Prior to this I completed my specialist training in the East of England deanery, winning the Bronze Cystoscope in 2023 for outstanding UK or Ireland trainee.
I completed a research Doctorate in Medicine (MD) in 2021 from the University of Cambridge on non-metastatic prostate cancer; which was later awarded the Raymond Horton Smith Prize for best Doctor of Medicine thesis.
Previous junior doctor roles have been in London and Norwich after completing my undergraduate studies in Nottingham.
