My current role

I assess adults for cochlear implantation and provide support, advice and guidance to help implanted adults to learn to listen again with their new electronic hearing.  I enjoy working alongside other rehabilitationists and audiologists in order to provide a caring and comprehensive service.

Previous history

I qualified as a speech and language therapist in 1998 and joined CUH in 2015. Prior to this I worked as a locum in Birmingham Children's Cochlear Implant Centre.

Previously, I have had extensive experience working as a  speech and language therapist in a variety of settings: clinics, schools and hospital environments.

I started to specialise in deafness in 2003 and gain a great deal of job satisfaction in helping to improve individual's lives.
