Katherine Walters - Music Therapist

Katherine Walters

Katherine graduated from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama with an MA in Music Therapy in 2009. She has a wide experience of working with families and supervising arts therapists in a variety of settings including schools, children’s centres, in children’s palliative care and now here at Addenbrooke’s where she has been in post since September 2025. Katherine is excited to be a part of the team here and finds it particularly meaningful as she remembers being offered and witnessing the power of music therapy here when her daughter was a young toddler and had frequent hospital spells with Asthma. She is humbled by the amazing children and families she has the privilege to work with. Outside of work she enjoys swimming, exploring new percussion instruments and botanical drawing.
