The Cancer Patient Partnership Group (CPPG) are looking for a proactive, motivated and compassionate individual to take on the role of Chair - a vital leadership position that puts patient and carer perspectives at the heart of cancer service design and delivery.
In this voluntary role as a Chair you will;
- Lead and energise the CPPG to influence cancer services through lived experience and collaboration
- Champion the voice of people affected by cancer, ensuring it is heard at every level of decision making
- Represent the CPPG at meetings with health professionals, service providers and other stakeholders
- Influence how cancer care is designed and delivered
We welcome expressions of interest from individuals who;
- Have lived experience of cancer as a patient or carer
- Are proactive and highly motivated with a genuine desire to drive change
- Possess strong communication and leadership skills
- Can build effective relationships and inspire confidence in others
- Champion co-production and partnership working to create change
