Healthcare Science Specialism: Cardiac Physiology.
What does your job involve?
Currently I work in the Cardiology diagnostic clinic, I fit heart monitors and ECGs. I am also learning to analyse ECGs.
What’s the best thing about your job?
Learning something so specialised.
What qualifications led you to this role?
I had a level 3 qualification in health and social care.
What career opportunities are available?
I can work in Echocardiography or the Cath lab and there are lots of different options available to me.
Do you have advice for someone interested in a career in healthcare science?
There is always someone to help explain something to you in a way that you understand. Don’t give up trying.
