We can check to make sure their home is ready for return from hospital, schedule volunteer home visits and phone calls to check if they’re ok. We can also support shopping and collecting prescriptions, light housework and practical tasks, help with getting a key safe or personal alarm installed, and signposting to longer term support.

Move Against Cancer

Exercise is one of the most important things anyone diagnosed with cancer can do to enhance well-being and improve health outcomes both during and after treatment. Finances continue to be the number one concern for patients diagnosed with cancer- CAB can help and support with so much more.

CUH Dietetics

Cancer treatment and the disease itself can significantly impair a patient's appetite, and ability to take or absorb enough nutrition to meet their needs. Some of the problems that patients experience include weight loss, early satiety, loss of appetite, nausea, diarrhoea, constipation, fatigue, taste changes, high blood sugars. We know that nutrition and how that nutrition is accessed is imperative to ensure patients are well enough to stay compliant with treatment or return to/continue with work and day to day responsibilities. The dietetics team take a holistic approach to understand the challenges of obtaining good sources of nutrition and the barriers to this for many families.

Come and speak to the team about what they can do to help patients throughout their journey and new projects.

Enhanced supportive care

The enhanced supportive care team work closely with cancer support services ensuring patients receive the right support at the right time. RSC holds outpatient clinics providing timely palliative care support alongside active or disease-controlling treatment of primarily cancer.

Stand holders map
Stands Map 2026 showing an indoor exhibition layout with 20 numbered information stands, entrances, exits, meeting rooms, board displays, tables, benches and facilities arranged around a large oval room.

Our Stands Map 2026 shows you the layout of the indoor exhibition space and helps you find each information stand. The stands are arranged around a large oval-shaped room, making it easy to move around and explore. The main entrance is on the left-hand side near the café, office and stairs, with additional exits and stair access points at the top and right of the room. Deakin Rooms 14 and 15 are located along the upper edge, training rooms run along the bottom, and the staff garden room is on the right.

Each stand is marked with a purple star and numbered from 1 to 20, matching the list of organisations shown alongside the map. Stand 1, CUH Cancer Support Service, is located close to the main entrance. Other organisations, including Caring Together, CAB Essex, Share Your Views!, Oasis Support Group Ely, Maggie’s Cambridge and Enhanced Supportive Care CUH, are spaced evenly around the room. Stands 18 to 20 can be found near Deakin Room 15.

Coloured angled lines on the map show the different types of display boards in use: green indicates 8-board displays, yellow shows 6-board displays, dark blue shows 4-board displays, and light blue marks supplier banners or stands. The map also highlights available furniture and features such as tables, benches and structural pillars.

Together, these details help you understand where each stand is located, how to move around the space, and where seating and facilities are available during the event.
