Discover the science behind the most common genetic disorder in the world!

Our medical haematology team are joining forces with the Sickle Cell Society and Active children's board to run an interactive event about sickle cell disease as part of the Cambridge Festival.

Find out about the disorder and the modern treatments for it.

  • There will be the chance to talk to experts
  • Take part in fun, hands-on activities for all ages
  • Watch ‘Sickle’ a powerful and insightful docu-film that delves into the history and impact of sickle cell disorder – and meet some of the cast!
