We carry out patient surveys to find out what you think about your treatment and care. This is because your feedback is important in helping us to improve our services.
There are blue comment card boxes throughout the Addenbrooke’s and Rosie hospitals where you can pick up a card, complete it and pop it back in the box.
There are hand held tablets on the wards that staff may ask you to use to complete a survey. We post out paper surveys and we also use text messaging and IVM (automated) telephone calls and have some surveys here on our website.
Our privacy notice explains how we may use your details to contact you with a request to complete a survey.
How we use your feedback
Staff share the feedback with their colleagues and use it to inform them about any service changes or improvements which may be needed, and where they are doing well. The Patient Engagement and Surveys team reports feedback to the Trust’s bi-monthly Patient Experience Group and the Friends and Family Survey results to NHS England every month. Patient feedback is also reviewed by the Patient Safety Group, the Quality Committee and the Board.
Due to the volume of responses received and anonymity we regret we are not able to respond individually to survey feedback.
