Mr Jah qualified in medicine and gained early surgical training with MS in general surgery from King George’s Medical College in Lucknow, India. In the UK, he trained at centres in Liverpool and London and received specialist training in HPB and Transplant surgery at Cambridge.

Mr Jah carries out major liver and pancreatic cancer resections and abdominal organ transplantation. He has special interest in advanced laparoscopic liver and pancreatic cancer surgery, minimal access surgery for acute pancreatitis and day case laparoscopic cholecystectomy.

Mr Jah is the Royal College Surgical Tutor, Assigned Educational Supervisor for surgical trainees and co-ordinates the surgical Academic Clinical Fellow (ACF) rotations. He is an investigator in several research trials and teaches on a number of surgical training courses. He is also the audit lead for HPB surgery.
