Refractory Headache Botulinium toxin for Dystonia

Dr Anderson is a consultant neurologist and the clinical lead for the refractory headache service at Addenbrooke’s. She qualified in medicine from the University of Edinburgh and trained in clinical neurology at Southampton General Hospital, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, The Norfolk and Norwich Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery. She undertook a PhD in medical sciences in the Brain Repair Centre at Cambridge University. Dr Anderson’s specialist interests include the primary refractory headaches such as chronic migraine and the trigeminal autonomic cephalgias (eg. cluster, SUNCT), as well as botulinium toxin treatment for dystonia. She retains an honorary position in the Headache Group in the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, but works principally between Addenbooke’s and Princess Alexandra Hospital where she is committed to delivering high quality integrated care.
