Patient and Public Involvement

The Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre, in collaboration with the NIHR Research Design Service for the East of England, are launching a new service of drop-in surgeries on Patient and Public Involvement (PPI), which is now expected to be integrated into all NIHR funded research. These surgeries will be for support and advice on PPI at all stages of a research proposal, from an idea, to a final grant application and then throughout your project.

During these sessions, our representatives will be able to explain the basics of PPI, offer advice on incorporating PPI into your work, signpost valuable resources and help improve the quality of your research by adding a vital public element. 20 minute sessions will be run on-site at CUH at bi-monthly intervals with slots allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and are available to all staff working across the CUH campus.

To find out the next sessions contact or call CUH PPI Officer Anna Ellis on 01223 254620
