Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute

The Institute aims to link the laboratory to the clinic with a multi-disciplinary approach to cancer-focused research.

The Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute aims to bring the scientific strengths of Cambridge to bear on practical questions of cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention.

The Institute focuses specifically on the practical application of high-quality basic research, forming a bridge between the world-class science of the University of Cambridge and its environment, Addenbrooke's Hospital, and other institutes and departments on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.

The Institute's 20 research groups and associated core facilities are based in the Li Ka Shing Centre, close to Addenbrooke's Hospital and many University of Cambridge research departments and institutes. The centre is thus ideally placed to translate the latest research directly into new treatments for patients.
